Built within a new infill extension, the generous natural light in this Audley inspired kitchen enables the bold, dark blue colour choice.
The roof lantern floods the room with natural light, not only balancing the dark tone on the cabinetry but also making the room feel airy and spacious - just as our client, Jane, had hoped to achieve in her new kitchen.
The bespoke tea & coffee cupboard with hand carved engraving above the bi-fold door has walnut shelves for storing Jane's cups, saucers and teapots as well as a compact drawer for teabags.
The pantry features bi-fold doors and a marble shelf to help keep some food items cool. The walnut internals compliment the dark blue cabinetry beautifully,
The area where the previous kitchen stood now connects the orangery (which is used as a dining room) with the new kitchen. To prevent it feeling like a walkway and to best utilise the space, additional storage was designed; including a sideboard/dresser and drinks cupboard as well as the integrated fridge/freezer, complete with 'cold store' engraving above.
This drinks cupboard is the ultimate entertaining kitchen feature - the perfect spot to prepare a Friday night drink for guests.
A bespoke knife block was integrated within Jane's main cutlery drawer, ensuring all her knives are easily to hand when preparing food at the kitchen island.
